Lions Volleyball Academy – Terms & Conditions

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia - home to the Lions Volleyball Academy, which offers excellent Sydney volleyball training and youth volleyball programs.

Welcome to Lions Volleyball Academy, where we specialize in Sydney volleyball training for all ages. These Terms & Conditions govern all participation in our training programs, services, and activities, including our youth volleyball programs. By enrolling in any program, you agree to the following terms.

By registering for any Lions Volleyball Academy program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are interested in our Sydney volleyball training or youth volleyball programs, please note that for participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept these terms on their behalf.

Lions Volleyball Academy offers exceptional Sydney volleyball training and athlete development programs, which include: 

- Beginner to Elite group training 

- Individual and small group coaching 

- Youth volleyball programs that provide athlete development pathways 

- Holiday clinics and camps 

- Assessments and trial sessions 

Placement into our programs is based on coach assessment, experience level, and availability.

All participants in the Lions Volleyball Academy must: 

Follow coaching instructions at all times 

Arrive on time and prepared for Sydney volleyball training 

Wear appropriate sports attire and footwear 

Respect coaches, staff, and fellow athletes 

Parents/guardians must ensure that all registration details, including medical information, are accurate and up to date for our youth volleyball programs.

Lions Volleyball Academy is dedicated to fostering a positive, respectful, and high-performance environment for all participants in our Sydney volleyball training and youth volleyball programs. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited: bullying, intimidation, or harassment; disrespect toward coaches, staff, or other participants; disruptive behavior during sessions; and unsafe or reckless conduct. The Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant who breaches this code, without refund.

Participation in volleyball training at the Lions Volleyball Academy requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. Participants, or their parents/guardians, must disclose: Any injuries or medical conditions, allergies or health concerns, and any limitations that may affect participation in our Sydney volleyball training programs. By enrolling, you confirm that the participant is fit to engage in physical activity.

All program fees for the Lions Volleyball Academy must be paid in full prior to participation in our Sydney volleyball training, unless otherwise agreed. Fees may include: training program fees, membership or registration fees, assessment or trial fees, and uniforms or merchandise. Please note that failure to make payment may result in denial of participation in our youth volleyball programs.

Participant Cancellations at Lions Volleyball Academy

More than 7 days before the start of Sydney volleyball training programs: Full refund (less processing fees). Less than 7 days before the start: Credit may be issued at the Academy’s discretion. After program commencement: No refunds, except in cases of medical inability (with documentation).

Missed Sessions

Missed sessions in our youth volleyball programs due to illness, holidays, or personal reasons are not refundable or transferable.

Lions Volleyball Academy reserves the right to modify or cancel sessions for various reasons, including weather conditions, venue or facility availability, and safety considerations. Participants in our Sydney volleyball training and youth volleyball programs will be notified in advance whenever possible.

Volleyball is a physical sport that carries inherent risks, including falls and collisions, muscle strains and sprains, and impact injuries. By participating in programs at Lions Volleyball Academy or during Sydney volleyball training, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Participants must immediately notify coaches of any injury sustained during youth volleyball programs.

To the extent permitted by law, Lions Volleyball Academy, along with its coaches, staff, and representatives, are not liable for: personal injury sustained during participation in our Sydney volleyball training, loss, theft, or damage of personal property, and any indirect or consequential loss. Participation in our youth volleyball programs is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

Participants in the Lions Volleyball Academy's Sydney volleyball training are encouraged to maintain their own personal accident or sports insurance where appropriate, especially when involved in youth volleyball programs.

All personal belongings are the responsibility of the participant. The Lions Volleyball Academy, known for its Sydney volleyball training and youth volleyball programs, accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

At Lions Volleyball Academy, we may capture photos or videos during our Sydney volleyball training sessions and events for various purposes, including: 

- Our website and social media platforms 

- Marketing and promotional materials 

- Academy publications 

By enrolling in our youth volleyball programs, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing.

Personal information collected during registration for the Lions Volleyball Academy's youth volleyball programs is used for: Program administration, communication with participants and parents, and emergency contact purposes. All data is handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws and will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law. This ensures that your information remains secure while you engage in our Sydney volleyball training.

Lions Volleyball Academy reserves the right to adjust the program structure of our Sydney volleyball training, change coaches or staff, and modify session formats or content. All changes are made in the best interest of participants and the quality of our youth volleyball programs.

The Lions Volleyball Academy reserves the right to terminate a participant’s involvement in our Sydney volleyball training if: The Code of Conduct is breached, safety instructions are ignored, or behavior negatively impacts others. Please note that no refund will be provided in such cases, as this applies to all youth volleyball programs.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and apply to all participants in Lions Volleyball Academy's Sydney volleyball training and youth volleyball programs.
