Lions Volleyball Academy – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Lions Volleyball Academy. 

These Terms & Conditions govern all participation in our training programs, services, and activities. By enrolling in any program, you agree to the following terms. 

 By registering for any Lions Volleyball Academy program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept these terms on their behalf.

 Lions Volleyball Academy provides high-quality volleyball training and athlete development programs, including:

• Beginner to Elite group training 
• Individual and small group coaching 
• Athlete development pathways 
• Holiday clinics and camps 
• Assessments and trial sessions 

Placement into programs is determined by coach assessment, experience level, and availability.

 All participants must:

• Follow coaching instructions at all times 
• Arrive on time and prepared for training 
• Wear appropriate sports attire and footwear 
• Respect coaches, staff, and fellow athletes 

Parents/guardians must ensure that all registration details, including medical information, are accurate and up to date.

 Lions Volleyball Academy is committed to a positive, respectful, and high-performance environment.

The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:

• Bullying, intimidation, or harassment 
• Disrespect toward coaches, staff, or other participants 
• Disruptive behaviour during sessions 
• Unsafe or reckless conduct 

The Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant who breaches this code, without refund.

 Participation in volleyball training requires a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Participants (or parents/guardians) must disclose:

• Any injuries or medical conditions 
• Allergies or health concerns 
• Any limitations that may affect participation 

By enrolling, you confirm that the participant is fit to engage in physical activity.

 All program fees must be paid in full prior to participation unless otherwise agreed.

Fees may include:

• Training program fees 
• Membership or registration fees 
• Assessment or trial fees 
• Uniforms or merchandise 

Failure to make payment may result in denial of participation.

 Participant Cancellations

• More than 7 days before program start: Full refund (less processing fees) 
• Less than 7 days before start: Credit may be issued at the Academy’s discretion 
• After program commencement: No refunds, except in cases of medical inability (with documentation) 

Missed Sessions

Missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or personal reasons are not refundable or transferable.

 Lions Volleyball Academy reserves the right to modify or cancel sessions due to:

• Weather conditions 
• Venue or facility availability 
• Safety considerations 

Where possible, participants will be notified in advance.

 Volleyball is a physical sport that carries inherent risks, including:

• Falls and collisions 
• Muscle strains and sprains 
• Impact injuries 

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Participants must immediately notify coaches of any injury sustained during training.

 To the extent permitted by law, Lions Volleyball Academy, its coaches, staff, and representatives are not liable for:

• Personal injury sustained during participation 
• Loss, theft, or damage of personal property 
• Any indirect or consequential loss 

Participation is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

 Participants are encouraged to maintain their own personal accident or sports insurance where appropriate. 

 All personal belongings are the responsibility of the participant.

Lions Volleyball Academy accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

 Lions Volleyball Academy may capture photos or videos during training sessions and events for:

• Website and social media 
• Marketing and promotional materials 
• Academy publications 

By enrolling, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing.

 Personal information collected during registration is used for:

• Program administration 
• Communication with participants and parents 
• Emergency contact purposes 

All data is handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws and will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.

 Lions Volleyball Academy reserves the right to:

• Adjust program structure 
• Change coaches or staff 
• Modify session formats or content 

All changes are made in the best interest of participants and program quality.

 The Academy reserves the right to terminate a participant’s involvement if:

• The Code of Conduct is breached 
• Safety instructions are ignored 
• Behavior negatively impacts others 

No refund will be provided in such cases.

 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
